OnlyKey App 6.0.0, as one commit, for OnlyKey firmware 3.1.0 (trustcrypto/OnlyKey-Firmware #183, trustcrypto/libraries #33).

Status: do not merge yet. It goes out with the firmware release, after the hardware test.

What's in it

  • Preferences > User Input Modes. One form, saved together, for how each key family is confirmed on the device:

    • SSH/GPG derived keys (field 21): challenge code or button press.
    • Stored keys (field 22): challenge code or button press.
    • Web and agent derived keys (field 30): challenge code, button press (default), or no confirmation.

Release firmware refuses "no confirmation" for fields 21 and 22, so the form does not offer it there.

  • Preferences > Webcrypt Access (field 31): "Allow Webcrypt to use my stored keys (PGP)" starts ticked, matching the firmware default, and "Turn off Webcrypt entirely" disables the FIDO2 extension.

  • Both need config mode. They replace the two old challenge-mode button pairs.

  • Version 6.0.0 in manifest.json, package.json and package-lock.json.

Tested

The preferences tests pass on the firmware emulator under nw.js 0.71.1 (the version the App pins). Not yet run against a physical OnlyKey; that is step 2.6 of the hardware test.

- Preferences > User Input Modes: one form for SSH/GPG derived keys
(field 21), stored keys (field 22) and web and agent derived keys
(field 30, which also offers no confirmation).
- Preferences > Webcrypt Access (field 31): allow the web app to use
stored keys, or turn off the FIDO2 extension.
- Version 6.0.0.
