AscendOS Beta

AscendOS is a desktop RPG habit tracker built with React, Vite, Electron, and SQLite. Complete quests, build streaks, earn XP, and improve your character attributes.

• Node.js 20 or newer
• npm

npm install
npm run dev

The development command starts the Vite and Electron development workflow.

npm run lint
npm run build

Generated bundles, release packages, the SQLite database, and local diagnostic reports are excluded by .gitignore.

• src/backend: habit and progression rules
• src/database: SQLite initialization
• src/main: Electron process and IPC bridge
• src/renderer: React interface

This is a Beta release. Data is stored in the local ascendos.db file created when the app runs.
