Gamification services

Tailored gamification services to improve engagement, retention, and LTV

We've helped over 60 product and growth teams diagnose weak engagement, retention, and LTV, choose and design gamification mechanics, and deploy solutions that move KPIs.

What we help with

Gamification that improves engagement, retention, and LTV

We help teams implement gamification features to fix poor retention, low engagement, and underperforming LTV.

User retention audit

We diagnose churn patterns, then design lifecycle stage-specific gamification that creates habit-forming loops and increases retention.

User engagement audit

We identify pain points and design gamification loops that motivate users to complete key product actions tied to engagement, retention, or LTV goals.

Monetization optimization

We align gamification features with your monetization strategy to increase conversions and LTV.

How we help

From diagnosis to growth, end to end

We partner with your team through discovery, strategy, design, build, and ongoing growth — scoped to your goals, timeline, and in-house capacity.

  1. 1

    Discovery & diagnosis

We interview stakeholders, audit your product, review analytics, and define the retention, engagement or monetization problem worth solving — with clear scope and KPIs.

  2. 2

    Product & UX strategy

We shape the vision, personas and user journeys driving weak engagement, retention, or LTV, design gamification mechanics that map to real jobs-to-be-done, and set the roadmap and measurement framework.

  3. 3

    UI/UX design

We partner with your designers on flows and prototypes, run feedback sessions where needed, and iterate until the experience is ready to build.

  4. 4

    Build

Forward-deployed engineers work with your team to integrate Trophy (or your stack), ship the features, and get live in production without derailing the core roadmap.

  5. 5

    Growth

After launch we audit results, run experiments, and iterate on mechanics so retention, engagement and monetization keep improving over time.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Have a different question and can’t find the answer you’re looking for? Send us an email.

Who are gamification services for?
Product, growth, and engagement teams at consumer web or mobile apps who need help designing and shipping gamification that improves retention, engagement, or LTV—whether or not you already use Trophy.
Do we have to use the Trophy product?
No. We can advise and implement around your existing tooling. Teams that use Trophy typically move faster on build and iteration because metrics, mechanics, and delivery are already connected.
How do we know if it’s working?
We define success metrics and an analytics framework up front, then review funnel and retention outcomes with you as features ship. If something isn’t moving the needle, we diagnose why and iterate.
What does an engagement look like?
Most engagements follow discovery, strategy, design support, forward-deployed build help, and ongoing growth work. We tailor scope to your goals, timeline, and in-house capacity rather than forcing a fixed playbook.
How long are engagements?
Engagements start at a minimum of 30 days. We build a tailored program around the services you need — engagement, retention, LTV, or a mix — and your timeline and in-house capacity.
How long does it take to see results?
Most teams get a first read 30 days after launch as that's usually enough time to see retention or engagement improvements, which are usually measured over a 14-day window with a similar period for baseline measurement. Monetization effects can vary based on your business model, so we set review milestones up front with you based on your situation.
Who actually does the work?
You'll work directly with Charlie and Jason Louro, the Co-founders of Trophy, who lead every services engagement. Once a plan is in place, forward-deployed engineers will sit with your team to guide the build and integration phases. Once launched, we'll work with you to review results and iterate on mechanics so retention, engagement and monetization keep improving over time.
What do we get from a retention audit?
A retention audit diagnoses churn by lifecycle stage, recommends the gamification mechanics that map to real jobs-to-be-done, and sets a KPI framework plus a scoped plan for what to ship first.
When shouldn’t we hire you?
If you have no retention data yet, or your core loop isn’t validated, start with the Trophy platform or the Gamification Intelligence Report instead of a services engagement. Services work best when you already have users and a retention problem worth solving.
