Organization

Organization Name

Update your organization's display name. Owners and admins can change this setting.

Delete Organization

Permanently delete the organization and all associated data including sites, analytics, reports, and member associations. Only owners can delete an organization.

This action cannot be undone. You must type the organization name to confirm deletion. If you have an active subscription, you must cancel it before deleting the organization.

Members

View and manage all members in your organization. The members table shows:

  • Name - Member's display name
  • Email - Member's email address
  • Role - Owner, Admin, Editor, Member, or Viewer
  • Site Access - Which sites the member can access
  • Joined - When they joined the organization

Member Roles

Each role can do everything the roles below it can.

RoleWhat it adds
OwnerBilling and plans, deleting the organization, making other owners
AdminInviting and managing members and teams, organization API keys, creating, deleting and transferring sites
EditorSite configuration: tracking settings, exclusions, public and private links, feature flags, experiments, data imports, Google Search Console, deleting session replays and tracked users, and editing anyone's segments and annotations
MemberBuilding reports: goals, funnels, dashboards, and their own segments and annotations
ViewerViewing analytics, sessions, replays and reports, without changing anything

Admins and owners always reach every site in the organization. Editors, members and viewers reach every site too, unless you restrict them to specific sites or the site belongs to a team they aren't on.

A member's role can also be raised on individual sites: when you restrict someone to specific sites, or add a site to a team, you can give them a higher role on just those sites. For example, a client can be a Viewer in your organization and an Editor on their own site. Nobody can give a role above their own, and only owners can make owners.

Inviting Members

Owners and admins can invite new members or create user accounts. See the Inviting Users guide for detailed instructions. A person can belong to several organizations.

Teams

You can organize sites into teams to control which members have access to which sites. See the Teams guide for details.
