Checklist:
open-in-native-browser is a small library that detects when a page is loaded inside Instagram's or Facebook's in-app browser and automatically escapes to the visitor's native browser. In-app browsers isolate cookies from the rest of the device, which silently breaks login sessions, checkout flows, and affiliate tracking for anyone arriving from a link shared on those platforms. On Android it attempts an automatic deep link out, and on iOS, where that handoff is more restricted, it falls back to a visible banner with a manual "open in browser" action. It's framework-agnostic, works with plain HTML, React, Vue, Next.js, Angular, and Svelte, has zero dependencies, and adds roughly 2KB to a bundle. I'm submitting it under Browser Detection since its core function is identifying a specific browser environment and acting on it.
