Adding a learning resource in the same spirit as the "Can it be done in React Native?" entry already in this section.
App Design MD — real mobile app interfaces rebuilt as interactive React Native / Expo prototypes. Each one has a live demo you can open in a browser and a
DESIGN.mdthat documents the design system behind it (colour, type scale, spacing, motion, component notes), so it is useful both as a code reference and as a design study.Live examples currently in the collection:
All projects are on current Expo 57 / React Native 0.86 with the New Architecture, are actively maintained, and are unaffiliated with the original apps.
Licensing note, so it is clear up front: the source is published under a custom study-and-research license (view, run, modify and share for noncommercial learning), not a permissive OSI licence. If that puts it out of scope for this list, no hard feelings — please close.
Disclosure: this is my own project.
