Hi, I'm Jayraj Jadeja 👋

I take systems apart to see how they tick.

Selected work

Previously, at SAFE Security:

  • Durable workflows: event-driven orchestration on Temporal, at platform scale.
  • Data at scale: multi-region data movement, event-driven scaling, MySQL query and index optimization.
  • Applied AI: an agent that turns threat feeds into executive-ready risk insights.

Building on the side

  • Market-data stack (currently building): a from-scratch Go pipeline: lob (deterministic limit order book) → tickstore (append-only, sparse-indexed tick store) → candle (OHLCV aggregation) → chart (ASCII candlestick charts). Integer cores, standard library only, one 25-byte record on a pipe.
  • echofloat: native macOS lyrics overlay (Swift).
  • assistant-bot: Slack assistant over repos, GitHub, Jira and Confluence.
  • Portfolio: a statically exported Next.js "living data system," all content real and aggregate.

Writing

Finance and engineering. A matching engine and a consensus protocol solve cousins of the same problem: agreeing on an ordered truth under contention, fast.
