Normally all adapters are read from the Configuration.xml. You can however also specify a directory on the file system that will be watched for adapter configurations. You can do this by adding a setting like this in your AppConstants.properties
adapterServiceWatchedDirectory=/Users/michiel/ibis/Ibis4VoorbeeldWEB/WebContent/WEB-INF/classes/adapters
Every file in this directory which name ends in '.xml' will be read and interpreted as (a set of) adapter(s).
E.g.:
<Configuration>
<Adapter name="HelloWorld3" description="Little example">
<Receiver name="HelloWorld3">
<JavaListener name="HelloWorld3"/>
</Receiver>
<Pipeline firstPipe="HelloWorld3">
<Exits>
<Exit name="EXIT" state="SUCCESS"/>
</Exits>
<FixedResultPipe name="HelloWorld3" returnString="Hello World">
<Forward name="success" path="EXIT"/>
</FixedResultPipe>
</Pipeline>
</Adapter>
</Configuration>It's also possible to collect a few adapters in a file:
<Configuration>
<Adapter name="FirstAdapter">
<Pipeline>
<EchoPipe name="FirstPipe"/>
</Pipeline>
</Adapter>
<Adapter name="SecondAdapter">
<Pipeline>
<EchoPipe name="SecondPipe"/>
</Pipeline>
</Adapter>
</Configuration>
It's also possible to collect a few adapters in a file:
```xml
<Configuration>
<Include ref="Configuration_myconfig1.xml"/>
<Include ref="Configuration_myconfig2.xml"/>
</Configuration>
