AI & ML Engineer | Researcher | Founder
I like building AI systems that survive contact with the real world, not just the ones that look good in a demo. Most of my work lives in that messy space between research and applied engineering, and honestly, that gap is where I do my best thinking.
These days I'm deep in genomic foundation models for antimicrobial resistance prediction at bioMérieux, trying to figure out what these models actually understand about biology, not just what they can memorize.
I also founded and run HER Innovation Lab, a women-led AI engineering collective. We're fully remote, and I get to work alongside a team of engineers building LLM agents, RAG systems, data pipelines, and automation tools for clients across industries, from the first scoping call to the day it ships. What started as a side project turned into one of the things I'm proudest of.
Before all that, I spent time at LIRIS lab researching algorithmic reasoning in LLMs, which turned into a paper at RJCIA 2025 and on arXiv (2026), and I picked up a handful of freelance projects along the way.

I play guitar, piano and harmonica. If I'm not traveling, which is my ultimate guilty pleasure, I am either reading something about cognition, trying to understand why a model does what it does or working on making HER Innovation Lab live up to the high standards that I set.
