Got the OK for advanced HW grading change. As @marcus-darden put it: First from a section is 10 points, the remainder are 5 each. Getting over 100 does not provide any tangible benefit. |

While dropping the "As this is a new class" clause is good, I'd leave the rest -- always good to have a little wiggle room :)

I'm hoping I didn't miss too much here; if anyone feels so inspired as to spin up a dev environment + review that would be appreciated.
Let's avoid merging until we can at least settle out a better scheme for advanced homework grading. I don't know that anything else grading-wise needs to change, but if so, now's the time.
