Projects
- fly-emulation: a whole Drosophila nervous system (the male CNS connectome, ~167,000 neurons) driving a physically simulated fly body in MuJoCo. Every parameter the data doesn't fix is filled from biology and labelled measured, derived, inferred or guessed. The question behind it: can a connectome plus current neuroscience produce an emulation that behaves like a real fly, and how much scan data would it take to reconstruct the original individual?
- CRUCIBLE: a 2-D axisymmetric propulsion sandbox (C++, Cantera) for comparing how engine geometry and operating choices turn reaction energy into thrust, one shared engine for chemical, magnetic-nozzle and pulsed concepts. My year-long inquiry project.
- Sunscatter: a real-scale spaceflight and mission-design game in Rust. N-body motion with no spheres of influence, identical results at every time warp, physical aero and heating.
- SAT practice: an offline practice app built on the College Board question bank.
Robotics. I write the robot software and simulator for FTC team 12928, the LightSaders. lightsaders-shooter-testbench is an interactive simulation of our shooter design.
