R1 Age Verification WordPress Plugin

This WordPress plugin adds an age verification overlay to your website, ensuring that only visitors above a certain age can access the content. The plugin provides options to customize the overlay appearance, set the minimum age threshold, and adjust the cookie duration.

1. Download the plugin files from the repository or the WordPress plugin directory.
2. Upload the r1-age-verification-wordpress-plugin folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory of your WordPress installation.
3. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.

After activating the plugin, you can configure the settings by navigating to Settings > Age Verification in the WordPress admin area.

• Overlay Image: Set the URL of the image to be used as the overlay background.
• Default Image: Set the URL of the image to be displayed in the age verification form.
• Cookie Duration: Set the number of days the age verification cookie should remain valid.
• Threshold Age: Set the minimum age required to view the content (default: 21 years).

Once the plugin is activated and configured, the age verification overlay will be displayed on all pages of your website. Visitors will be prompted to enter their year of birth, and only those who meet the minimum age threshold will be granted access to the site content. A cookie will be set to remember the visitor's age verification status for the specified duration.

1. Deactivate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
2. Delete the r1-age-verification-wordpress-plugin folder from the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
