DISCLAIMER: This is a 100% fan-made community project. This organization is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or created by Frizk. Frizk is not a programmer or a contributor to this repository; this project is purely a community-driven technical creation inspired by them.
Frizk-OS is a collective of independent developers and systems engineers focused on custom operating system development, Android Open Source Project (AOSP) source tree modification, and low-level engineering. We completely avoid heavy web frameworks and bloated layers. Our core focus is achieving absolute control over the hardware, system optimization, and interacting with low-level architectures directly.
- Legacy AOSP Bring-up (Samsung Galaxy S3 i9300): Deep architectural porting, source tree adaptation, and maintenance of legendary mobile hardware. This includes working with legacy build environments, custom Linux kernels, and C/C++ Hardware Abstraction Layers (HAL).
- Modern Hardware Reverse Engineering (Tecno Spark Go 2022, Google Pixel 10a, etc.): Researching restricted, closed-source MediaTek/Unisoc platforms, bypassing proprietary vendor restrictions (vendor blobs, locked bootloaders), and exploring custom GSI (Generic System Image) deployments.
- Future-Proofing Platform Support: Keeping our environment highly versatile, laying down foundations to eventually scale our custom builds from legacy hardware all the way up to platforms like the Google Pixel series.
- Custom Subsystems & Shells: Developing lightweight, high-performance system utilities, window management frameworks, and audio playback subsystems tailored for Unix-like environments.
