Hey, I'm Michael

I'm an electronics technician who experiments with Python and AI to build tools that are actually useful. Most of what's here started because I needed it at one point or another. Some of it is just me exploring AI and Python because I like knowing how things work under the hood.

Everything runs on Linux. Everything is Python.

Python Linux MIT pygame PyQt5 OpenCV SSH SQLite numpy

What's Here

Repo What it does
microcam-benchscope PCB inspection workstation — HDMI microscope, OCR, measurements, focus stacking, HDR
sftp-ultra SFTP engine built for production — concurrent workers, SHA-256 verification, SQLite journal
security-scanner Local read-only scanner for exposed secrets in JSON, config, and text files
highlight-scraper Captures mouse-highlighted text to SQLite — CLI, GUI, and system tray
multi-file-diff-tool All-vs-all file diff and 3-way merge — GUI + CLI, HTML reports, stdlib only
pyqt-camera-dashboard Multi-camera RTSP live dashboard with recording and encrypted credentials
ssh-vid-mover Moves video files over SSH safely — size verification, .part download pattern
evoforge 2D artificial life sim — neural agents evolve on their own, no scripted behavior
PureTrace CPU-only path tracer in pure Python — physically-based materials, zero dependencies
lumen-lang A programming language I built in Python — lexer, parser, bytecode compiler, stack VM, REPL
matrix-rain Matrix-style live wallpaper — pygame, X11/xwinwrap, CLI configurable
bleedingtones Terminal audio triggers for builds, scripts, and CI hooks
meta-prompt-engine Browser-based prompt engineering tool for building and refining AI prompts
guided-build-framework Prompt framework for idea generation and execution-focused evaluation
rd-idea-engine R&D research and stress-test tool — three versions: browser (OpenAI), CLI (Anthropic), local (Ollama)
