A MATLAB-based system for analyzing electrocardiogram (ECG) signals using digital signal processing techniques to detect cardiac patterns and anomalies.
This project uses MATLAB's Signal Processing Toolbox to analyze bio-electrical ECG signals. It applies digital filtering to remove noise and extracts key features from the signal to support downstream cardiac anomaly detection.
- ECG Signal Analysis — processes raw ECG waveforms using MATLAB's Signal Processing Toolbox
- Noise Filtering — digital filtering techniques to clean bio-electrical signals
- Feature Extraction — extracts key signal features (e.g., R-peaks, intervals) for further analysis
- Anomaly Detection — identifies irregular cardiac patterns from processed signals
- Language/Platform: MATLAB
- Toolbox: Signal Processing Toolbox
- Signal Acquisition — loads raw ECG signal data
- Filtering — applies digital filters to remove noise and baseline wander
- Feature Extraction — extracts key waveform features from the cleaned signal
- Pattern/Anomaly Detection — analyzes extracted features to flag irregular cardiac patterns
