Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using gitGood.dev ("the Platform"), operated by Nobler Works LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

gitGood.dev is a tech career platform that provides interview preparation resources, coding challenges, skill verification, curated job listings, and Pulse, a market-intelligence dashboard that aggregates layoff, hiring, funding, and macroeconomic signals from publicly-available third-party sources.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Share, distribute, or reproduce any content from the Platform without authorization.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform or its systems.
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users.
• Use automated systems or bots to access the Platform without permission.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform or servers.
• Impersonate any person or entity.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, is the property of Nobler Works LLC or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright laws. The compilation of all content on the Platform is the exclusive property of Nobler Works LLC.

6. User Content

By submitting content to the Platform (including profile information, code submissions, and other materials), you grant Nobler Works LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display such content in connection with operating and promoting the Platform.

You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to submit such content and that it does not violate any third-party rights.

7. Subscription and Payments

• Certain features of the Platform require a paid subscription.
• Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.
• Refunds are handled in accordance with our refund policy.
• We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable notice.

8. Job Listings and Applications

The Platform shows curated openings gathered from public employer job boards, and lets you record applications you have made. Applying happens on the employer's own site, under their terms - we are not a party to it, we do not submit anything on your behalf, and we cannot guarantee that a listing is current or that an employer will respond.

gitGood does not operate a recruiter marketplace and does not offer recruiters a candidate search. Recruiters who leave their details on our "For Recruiters" page are agreeing only to be contacted about hiring on gitGood; doing so grants no access to candidate data.

9. Code Execution and Sandbox Environment

The Platform provides a sandboxed environment for executing code submissions. You acknowledge that:

• Code is executed in isolated containers with limited resources and network access.
• We reserve the right to terminate any code execution that appears malicious or resource-intensive.
• You shall not attempt to escape the sandbox, access unauthorized resources, or exploit vulnerabilities.
• We are not responsible for any unintended consequences of code you submit.

10. AI-Generated Content

The Platform may utilize artificial intelligence to generate content, recommendations, or feedback. AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as professional advice. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content.

11. Aggregated Third-Party Content (Pulse)

Pulse is a market-intelligence dashboard that aggregates publicly-available data from third-party sources, including (but not limited to) SEC EDGAR filings, U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics data, Federal Reserve Economic Data (FRED), GDELT, Hacker News, Reddit, TechCrunch, VentureBeat, and Crunchbase. You acknowledge and agree that:

• Source content remains the property of its respective owners and is displayed with attribution and a link back to the original source.
• Pulse data is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute financial, investment, employment, legal, or career advice.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or availability of aggregated data; source feeds may lag, change, or contain errors outside our control.
• You should verify any information with the original source before relying on it for material decisions.
• We may add, remove, or change source feeds at our discretion without prior notice.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NOBLER WORKS LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Nobler Works LLC, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Platform or your violation of these Terms.

15. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Platform at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

16. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved through the following process:

• First, attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at legal@gitgood.dev.
• If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
• You agree to waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

17. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Nobler Works LLC regarding the use of the Platform and supersede any prior agreements.

20. Changes to Terms
