Rick and Morty API — free mock REST API for testing

Characters, locations and episodes from the animated sci-fi sitcom. Practice CRUD, Bearer auth, nested resources, pagination and optimistic concurrency.

The Rick and Morty API spans characters, locations and episodes across a multiverse, with characters appearing in many episodes. The many-to-many shape is the point: it is the catalog's best target for testing a client that has to de-duplicate records arriving from more than one relationship at once.

Unofficial and fan-made. The Rick and Morty API is a practice API that borrows a theme; it is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by the owners of the names it references, which belong to them. Every record it returns is test data for exercising HTTP behaviour, not an authoritative source on the subject.
