FastUtil ("we", "our", or "the service") is a collection of free, browser-based developer tools available at fastutil.app and via the FastUtil Chrome extension. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Data We Do Not Collect

All tool processing in FastUtil happens entirely in your browser. We do not:

  • Collect, store, or transmit any data you enter into our tools
  • Require account registration or login
  • Store personally identifiable information
  • Sell or share any data with third parties
  • Track your browsing history or behavior across sites
  • Use advertising trackers or third-party analytics SDKs

Chrome Extension

The FastUtil Chrome extension provides quick access to fastutil.app tools from any browser tab. The extension:

  • Does not read, access, or transmit your browsing data
  • Does not collect any personal information
  • Only uses the contextMenus permission to add a right-click shortcut
  • Opens fastutil.app in a new tab when you click a tool — no data is passed
  • All tool logic runs locally in the browser, not on our servers

Anonymous Analytics

We may collect anonymous, aggregated usage statistics (such as page views and country) using privacy-friendly analytics. This data cannot be used to identify individual users and is used solely to understand which tools are most useful.

Cookies

FastUtil uses only essential cookies required for the site to function (such as theme preference). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Third-Party Services

FastUtil is hosted on Vercel. Their privacy policy applies to infrastructure-level data (such as server access logs). We do not integrate any third-party advertising or data broker services.

Children's Privacy

FastUtil does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. The service contains no age-restricted content.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of FastUtil after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
