CoinMarketCap Names David Salamon Chief Executive Officer

CoinMarketCap today announced that David Salamon, currently Chief Product Officer, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. He succeeds Rush, who, after five years leading CoinMarketCap, is moving to build out the group's new business lines.

David joined CoinMarketCap in 2022. As Chief Product Officer, he took CMC AI from zero to one of the world's most widely used crypto-native AI products with 10M+ users, led a complete rebuild of CoinMarketCap's on-chain data infrastructure with DexScan tracking 107 chains, and led the modernisation of the CoinMarketCap data platform, which serves critical crypto data through API to tens of thousands of developers and enterprise customers worldwide with 33 million daily calls.
