Josh Weiss shared thisI've known Leslie for several years. She's so talented in addition to simply being a good person! I'm so glad you're willing to share this.Josh Weiss shared thisI gave a lot of thought to whether I wanted to share this article. A long job search is not an easy thing to discuss publicly, especially after a successful career. But I have encountered countless experienced professionals facing the same challenges, and I decided there is value in being open and honest about it. I remain proud of the career I have built and confident in what I bring to an organization - strategic communications leadership, strong judgment, creativity, and the ability to turn complex ideas into clear, compelling stories. I’m continuing to look for the right senior communications or content opportunity and am grateful to everyone who has made an introduction, shared an opening or kept me in mind. One thing I’ve learned is how important relationships and personal connections can be in a job search. Thank you to Robin Madell and Business Insider for telling my story thoughtfully and graciously. Business Insider subscribers can read the article here: https://lnkd.in/gbZx8ndn. For those who are not subscribers, I’ve attached a copy below.

Josh Weiss shared thisHey Phoenix peeps! 10 to 1 Public Relations is in another growth spurt, and we're looking to expand our team. If you know a PR pro, please share our opening and encourage them to apply. Note: This is not an entry-level role but has lots of room for continued career growth. We're seeking a local candidate (we're hybrid and will be required in the office several days a week) with agency experience. If you refer someone, please send me a private message so I know to be on the lookout for it.

Josh Weiss shared thisEarned, Paid, and Owned Media are not the same thing. This article explains the difference in practical terms every business leader should know. It comes down to this: Earned media builds credibility. Owned media amplifies it. Paid media can extend it. But without real, independent, third-party coverage, you are just talking about yourself. #PublicRelations #EarnedMedia #PRStrategy #MediaRelations #ThoughtLeadership #prlife 10 to 1 Public RelationsEarned, Paid, and Owned Media Are Not the Same Thing. Josh Weiss shared thisI’m honored to be named to the 2026 Phoenix Titan 100 list! TITAN 100 is a national program in 12 markets across the country that recognizes the top 100 CEOs and C-level executives in a region. Over the years, 10 to 1 Public Relations has helped leaders of several clients to be named to this list in various cities, and they told us it was a great experience. I’m excited to join this exclusive group and to be among so many amazing local and national leaders. #prlife #PhoenixTitan100 #Titan100 #honoredtobeincluded #agencylife

Josh Weiss shared thisI've been in public relations for more than 20 years, and one common conversation I have with a new prospect goes something like this: "We want to be in tier one media like The Wall Street Journal." My answer is always the same: "Great. But that's not where we're starting." That might sound counterintuitive coming from someone who runs a PR firm. Shouldn't we be swinging for the fences? Isn't landing a major national tier one media feature the whole point? Here's the thing. Baseball is a big deal in my family. So when it comes to PR strategy, baseball gives me the best analogy to explain how I actually think about it.Most PR Firms Try to Be Home Run Hitters. Josh Weiss liked thisJosh Weiss liked thisData center operators face a critical decision. Power demand from AI workloads is growing faster than the grid can keep pace. Permits for diesel generators add months or years to project timelines. Communities are pushing back against combustion-based infrastructure. And regulators are accelerating their expectations. The question is no longer whether to replace diesel. It is what to replace it with. Phinergy CEO Emmanuel Levy wrote about this challenge and we are grateful to Industrial Equipment News for the platform. The Aluminum-Air Generator delivers zero-emission, long-duration backup power with response times and a physical footprint comparable to diesel generators and no air permitting required. What sets the AAG apart goes beyond performance. Phinergy was selected by the Net Zero Innovation Hub for Data Centers, to validate the AAG as a preferred zero-emission alternative to diesel generators. Are you seeing the same urgency to move beyond diesel in your organization? Josh Weiss liked thisJosh Weiss liked thisMayor/Secretary/Future President Pete Buttigieg is one of the best political communicators I’ve seen. He authentically engages audiences, speaks directly to the issues people care most about, dispatches critics with a smile and deep comprehension of the facts, and uses humor to build bridges. I had the privilege to see him yesterday in Seattle with a small group of donors (thanks, Suzi!) as well as business and community leaders. We need more Democrats taking their communications queues from The Hon. Pete. I left feeling inspired.

Josh Weiss liked thisJosh Weiss liked thisIt's so refreshing to attend an event that celebrates true leadership. Last night was one of those special moments where I left inspired by the panel discussion, the insights shared, and, most of all, the conversations with accomplished business leaders building and leading successful organizations. I loved celebrating longtime friends Eric Miller and Jasmine Bhatti, along with new ones Brad Rucker, Sentari Minor, Josh Weiss, Simon Davies, and the other 94 on being named 2026 Phoenix Titans. The bar just got a little higher.

Josh Weiss liked thisJosh Weiss liked thisWe’re proud to share that Abbie S. Fink, President of HMA Public Relations, has been recognized with an Award of Commendation for Agency Leader as part of Public Relations Society of America’s inaugural Women of Impact Awards. PRSA, the nation’s leading professional organization for the communications community, honored 33 women whose leadership, innovation and influence are strengthening organizations, advancing the profession and creating opportunities for others. Honorees were celebrated at the Women of Impact Summit & Awards, held at the Union League Club of Chicago and preceded by a morning of programming on leadership and the future of the communications field. Abbie was one of three professionals recognized with a commendation in the Agency Leader category, alongside honorees representing agencies across the country. The recognition reflects not only her individual leadership, but the culture she’s helped build at HMA: grounded in mentorship, integrity and a genuine investment in the people and clients we work with. “Leadership isn’t something you do alone, it’s built through the team around you,” Abbie said. “This recognition means so much because it reflects the people I get to work alongside every day.” The inaugural Women of Impact Awards were created to give communications professionals the chance to learn from accomplished leaders, celebrate excellence in the field, and ensure the next generation of women in communications sees themselves reflected in today’s leadership. Congratulations to Abbie, and to all of this year’s honorees, for the impact they’re making across the profession. #prsa #womenofimpact #womeninpr #hmapr
