Milan Design Week 2026, we’re proud to share an important milestone. During Milano Design Week 2026, Flær opens to the public with its first official exhibition; the result of a launch journey led by Nascent, from strategy, visual identity to the development of a coherent and recognisable brand launch across multiple touchpoints. From 20 to 26 April 2026, the brand takes physical form through an immersive exhibition conceived by (ab)Normal, under the overall creative direction of Nascent. The project has been developed for #sobhafurniture whose ambition to build a distinctive and globally relevant furniture brand has guided a process rooted in strategic clarity and long-term vision. The Director of the UK National Innovation Centre for Ageing (#NICA) - 🐨 Nicola Palmarini - will be one of the speakers at the 2025 edition of NEXT DESIGN PERSPECTIVES, the Altagamma Foundation conference curated by Triennale Milano. NICA is an international organization set up to help co-develop and bring to market products and services designed to create a world in which we all live better, for longer. He holds a decade of experience in applied research on ageing and healthy longevity. Along his career he created and led several “first-of-a-kind” programs like “Living Safer”, empowering carers with data, the Internet of Caring Things, shifting the paradigm of connected objects, and the City of Longevity, a revolutionary toolkit designed to leverage cities to become the proactive actors of healthy longevity in the population. Before that, he was a research manager at the MIT-IBM Watson AI Lab, a $250 million academic-industry partnership for the responsible advancement of artificial intelligence, and from 2015, Head of AI for Healthy Aging at IBM Research in Cambridge, USA.
