Vera Rubin just rendered 90% of the world's data centers obsolete.
At GTC 2026, Jensen Huang unveiled NVIDIA's next architecture after Blackwell, arriving 2026–27. And when I looked at its specifications, I did not see a product announcement. I saw an infrastructure ultimatum.
Here is what Vera Rubin actually means in numbers:
- 3.3× the FP4 AI performance of Grace Blackwell (GB200)
- Up to 3.6 TB of HBM4 memory per NVL144 rack
- ~180–200 kW per rack power draw, liquid cooling is no longer optional, it is the only path forward
- NVLink-Next: estimated 3.6 TB/s chip-to-chip bandwidth
- ~100× the LLM inference throughput of an H100
One line from Jensen's keynote stayed with me: "The more you buy, the more you save." But I would add, the more future-ready your infrastructure, the more you actually gain.
At Cyfuture, we started building our 10 MW liquid-cooled AI Data Centre not just for the GPUs of today, but for the ones on Jensen's roadmap that most people had not announced yet. When I look at Vera Rubin's specifications, mandatory direct-to-chip liquid cooling, 200 kW+ rack densities, NVL144 full-rack deployments, I see an architecture that was designed for a facility exactly like ours.
Most data centres in India will need a complete power and cooling retrofit before they can host a single Vera Rubin rack. We will not.
Here is what we built in advance:
✅ 150 kW+ per rack capacity today, with 200 kW headroom reserved for VR200 NVL144
✅ Modular CDU (Coolant Distribution Unit) architecture for zero-disruption upgrades
✅ 800G XDR InfiniBand upgrade path already factored into our network design
✅ SEZ-enabled campus for duty-free import of next-generation GPU hardware
This is not coincidence. This is conviction.
When we designed Cyfuture's Data Centre, the question we asked was not: "What does the market need today?" The question was: "What will the AI infrastructure of 2027 demand — and can we be ready before anyone else in India?"
Vera Rubin is NVIDIA's answer to where AI compute is headed. Our 10 MW campus is India's answer to where AI infrastructure must go.
