I discovered this through the InfoQ article, very nice!

My suggestion for the language is to use const and let instead of var. I found an excellent writeup from November 2015 at https://medium.com/javascript-scene/javascript-es6-var-let-or-const-ba58b8dcde75, other nice ones at https://www.google.com/search?q=javascript+var+vs+let+vs+const.

Thanks! I didn't realize that const and let would make var unnecessary. I'll check it out.
