I'd like to have an option to use an ellipsis to show that some character were cut in a directory name in the cwd segment.

So this ~/some/directories/and_one_with_a_very_long_name would appear as ~/some/directories/and_one_wit… instead of ~/some/directories/and_one_with with option "max_dir_size": 12.

It should be fairly straighforward to implement in segments/cwd.py in the maybe_shorten_name function.

I tried to implement it on my own, but I couldn't get my own custom segment to be loaded by powerline_shell.

Any help to either implement this or assistance in executing custom segments would be appreciated.
