I'm using Google Chrome 81.0.4044.129 on Ubuntu 19.10, devdocs.io seems to be ignoring theme settings (always light theme).
Chrome itself follows system theme change correctly.

I’m unable to reproduce this on Chrome 83 [on macOS].

The problem is still there: Google Chrome 83.0.4103.97 (Official Build) (64-bit), Ubuntu 20.04

Those two phrases seem contradictory to me. Please explain in detail how you've configured devdocs, which system theme you apply, the expected and actual results.

This seems to be CSS related in Linux build of Chrome -- the way webpages detect the dark theme doesn't work. But the Chrome UI follows a system theme correctly.
I expect this be already known/reported in Chrome, but I can't find any mention of this.

Google Chrome 86.0.4240.183 (Official Build) (64-bit), Ubuntu 20.10 -- problem is still there
