    Many conferences ask speakers to use the same virtual background. This is a first - I've been sent a physical background. (Leaving aside the fact that it turns out to be the same colour as my actual walls, bypassing everyone's video background-removal artefacts is a good move.)

    Word of the day: Spaghettiful :) Example usage: "These microservices are really spaghettiful, despite good intentions." I learned this word from watching a talk. The speaker was ... me. Apparently past me made up a good word and then promptly forgot it.
