    The Price Oracle highlights an interesting tension b/t anonymity and decentralization. The “sledgehammer” approach to decentralization is to have a large number of participants who do not know each other. I can’t collude w/ you if I don’t even know who you are. 1/2

    The price of ETH The traffic to Ethereum websites The volume of Ethereum transactions The downloads in Ethereum podcasts The number of businesses being built The number of tokens deployed The number of jobs The salaries being paid All these metrics track the health of Ethereum

    It's actually amazing how in sync 's traffic is with the price of ETH. From April 5th to today: - ETH increased by 30% from $144 to $187 - EthHub monthly traffic increased by 30% (almost exactly) I should be using this data to stack more gwei 😅

    Oracles on chain. All major exchanges should stampe their rate on chain once every 10 minutes. - $1*6*24*365 = $52k per year, per exchange. - $0.12 x 6 x 24 x 365 = $6,300 per year. One for the team etc...? ☺️

    Finally is signing their prices! I've been asking for this for a while now! To be fair, I wouldn't use *just* Coinbase's prices as the full Oracle (remember the flash crash in 2017?) but would add it as another source to be medianized
