I am excited- but also very nervous as Nam June Paik is my favorite and most influential artist of all time.. I feel like it's almost blasphemous to talk about my 'work' next to his. Plus I have to do this at the Tate of all places. Please give me a break

dont want to become the "video game art guy" (couldnt be worse than "AI art guy") but its crazy how many totally unique visual qualities are found *only* in games (especially older 3d ones) - but have been totally overlooked because they're from games and 'not serious'.

i think that 3d shapes being transparent when viewed from the wrong side is probably one of the most important but overlooked visual qualities ever. i want to make a lot of new work that focuses on this its like cubism 2
