yeah, issues on the release server

just fixing the MacOS issue now and the rocksdb libs

hope to push improved 1.2.7 today with a receipts fix included

eh, did not even have time for brekfast or lunch, busy day with the build improvements and a few other things

With the changes to RPC, do I need to include any additional config?
I have this:

    "Enabled": true,
    "Host": "127.0.0.1",
    "Port": 8545   
  }

But it's rejecting connection attempts for some reason now

Was working fine on 1.2.3

try to use your host ip address

not 127.0.0.1

dependes on the VM setup

whether it will bind to 127.0.0.1

sometimes requires local sometimes external IP, always goo to firewall the port

the versions did nit change

you probably launch on a different box?

/ different cloud provider

I was just checking netstat, it does look like it's listening on private IP of system. I'm running it locally on windows, nothing special

but that means it's now ignoring the config

yup using my 192.168 addr it's listening on worked

C:\Users\chase>netstat -an | findstr 8545
  TCP    192.168.10.50:8545     0.0.0.0:0              LISTENING

I have not yet found the reason why it sometimes does not bind to it

My node's average propagation time is 0ms on etherstats, that's either amazing, or something fishy is going on haha

the propagation time counting by ethstats is bad

better on some versions of ethstats

worse on others

it has strange counting depending on the difference in system times between remote server and ethstats server

still, it should be amazing when it works properly:

maybe my circling skills are not the best as I wanted to point out that Netherminds have great propagation delays on the Goerli network

I spent some time in the past optimizing the delays between the reception of the new block message and inclusion it on the chain

I think you are the first node reporting new blocks indeed

if you sort the page by the block number

then the page will keep the ones that updated first on the top

hmm, no, if you pin your node and then sort by the block number

then you should see delays

hard to say with ethstats
