Made this (fuzzy-ish) rule to enforce $ReadOnly props for React components when using (also learned that @typescriptlang apparently does this by default 😅)

I wish "proper" way of React Props/State types was more streamlined in . Both need to be: 1. Exact (avoids prop typos, VERY commonly missed) 2. Immutable (catches accidental assignments that ESLint doesn't) type Props = $ReadOnly<{|…|}> type State = $ReadOnly<{|…|}>

Funny that since Flow positions itself neither as a language nor as a transpiler, most of the surveys (SO, npm) never include it in either. All you see is TS adoption 🤔

Isn’t it time for Flow and TypeScript to join forces and define a standard syntax for static type anotations in JS? It would be so great to have both tools work with the same annotations

I've been involved in DevTools dev for years, and I've both had and heard many good ideas to improve it. It's always a special feeling seeing on of them finally take shape. Latest one to date: detect CSS properties that don't have an effect on the current element. Sneak peek:
