Hey, @martin-braun. I'm a (proud!) former maintainer of tmuxinator and started work on rmuxinator based on a similar set of concerns as yours. (Not to detract or throw any shade at tmuxinator, which I still hold near and dear.) I haven't had time to work on it in a while but it is quite stable and usable (I use it for work regularly) and it'd be great to get some more eyes on it, if you're willing. |

Probably won't happen, but I have to put it out. I love
tmuxinator, but its Ruby dependency throws me off every time I setup a new environment for myself. For metmuxinatoris essential, but I also needrvmto handle versions ofruby(later). Entering a clean system and trying to setup everything is terrible, because the Ruby installation is not always very smooth. This is an issue with the fact thatrvmneeds to compile.tmuxis such a clean package. I think it should be written in a native binary that can be distributed everywhere, since it is so essential, almost as essential astmuxitself, at least for me.The Debian package didn't even properly let
apt install tmuxinatorinstallapt install ruby. Funny. All reactions
