Issues

• cpworker: zmq heartbeats are counted in fwd_packets/fwd_bytes (an idle output reports forwarded packets)

• cpctl: cpctl config (REFACTOR-CPCTL.md §6.4) is not implemented; unknown subcommands log text on stderr under -f jsonl

• cpctl: stats jsonl ts is a 1970 date (cpworker stamps the stats snapshot with CLOCK_MONOTONIC); -i below 5 s has no effect

• cpworker: GRE output loses the packet direction when service_tag is unset (default 0xFFFFFFFF fills the direction bits)

• cpworker: config parse error message races with control-socket parsing on cJSON global_error

Netis/cloud-probe#295 · Filter by author vaderyang opened on Oct 3, 2026

• cpworker: log lines from concurrent threads interleave (log_log writes a line in three stdio calls; localtime is not thread-safe)

Netis/cloud-probe#294 · Filter by author vaderyang opened on Oct 3, 2026

• cpworker: config path naming a directory overflows length + 1 in read_file_contents (misleading "memory allocation failed")

Netis/cloud-probe#293 · Filter by author vaderyang opened on Oct 2, 2026

• cpdaemon: Worker.Stop() returns before the stop completes (pid, cgroup and pid file are cleaned up afterwards)

Netis/cloud-probe#292 · Filter by author vaderyang opened on Oct 2, 2026

• cpdaemon: logs uploaded to CPM carry ={e:0x…} instead of the error text

Netis/cloud-probe#290 · Filter by author vaderyang opened on Oct 2, 2026

• cpworker: the DPDK pdump capturer never initialises EAL (dpdk_init() has no caller), so the DPDK backend cannot capture

• cpworker: dpdk pdump mempool uses ring_mp_sc, which corrupts (SIGSEGV) under a multi-queue primary

• cpworker: zmq output drops runt frames without counting them in any stats counter

• cpworker: req_pattern ignores 802.1ad (QinQ) tags, so QinQ frames are judged unknown and dropped

Netis/cloud-probe#270 · Filter by author vaderyang opened on Sep 29, 2026

• cpdaemon: examples/template.json documents cpdaemon keys that are never read

Netis/cloud-probe#266 · Filter by author vaderyang opened on Sep 29, 2026

• cpdaemon CPM client ignores context cancellation (shutdown waits for the HTTP timeout)

Netis/cloud-probe#265 · Filter by author vaderyang opened on Sep 29, 2026

• cpdaemon refuses to start when cpm-worker.pid names an unrelated process, or ends with a newline

Netis/cloud-probe#264 · Filter by author vaderyang opened on Sep 29, 2026

• cpworker: control socket does not frame requests by newline; split or pipelined requests get no reply

• cpworker: control socket listen backlog is 1; concurrent Go clients fail with EAGAIN

Netis/cloud-probe#260 · Filter by author vaderyang opened on Sep 29, 2026

• [test] Coverage/mutation run: tests that pass without verifying behaviour (dispatcher, wire bytes, checksums, parse_packet, cpm)

• [cpworker] cJSON leniency: duplicate keys, trailing garbage, invalid \uXXXX (by design?)

Netis/cloud-probe#238 · Filter by author vaderyang opened on Sep 28, 2026

• [cpdaemon] Worker config decoding is too lenient (case-insensitive keys, zero-filled missing fields)
