Connect Form to Make (Integromat) - Make Integration

Start a Make scenario every time someone submits your form. Paste a Make webhook URL into FormBold, and each submission arrives in Make with all its fields, ready to filter, format, and send to other apps.

Integration Overview

Make, formerly called Integromat, is a visual tool for building automations. You connect apps as a chain of steps, called a scenario.

The FormBold integration sends each form submission to a custom webhook in Make. That webhook starts your scenario. From there, you can add steps that filter submissions, change the data format, call other APIs, or send the data to more than 1,000 services Make connects to.

Use Make when you need something FormBold does not do on its own, such as sending a lead to Airtable and a CRM at the same time, or routing submissions differently based on an answer.

How It Works

  1. A visitor submits your form.
  2. FormBold runs its spam checks and allowed-domain rules.
  3. If the submission passes, FormBold saves it to your dashboard and sends it to your Make webhook URL.
  4. Make runs the scenario you built with that data.

If Make does not accept a delivery, FormBold retries it automatically. Email notifications and other integrations keep running.

How to Connect Your Form to Make

Step 1: Create a custom webhook in Make

  1. Log in to Make and click Create a new scenario.
  2. Click the plus icon, search for Webhooks, and choose Custom Webhook.
  3. Click Create a webhook, name it "FormBold Submissions", and click Save.
  4. Make shows a webhook URL, such as https://hook.eu2.make.com/xxxx. Click Copy address to clipboard.

Step 2: Add the webhook URL to FormBold

  1. Open your form in FormBold and go to the Integrations tab.
  2. Click Make and paste the webhook URL.
  3. Click Save & Activate.

Step 3: Let Make read your form fields

  1. In Make, click Redetermine data structure on the webhook step.
  2. Submit a test entry from your website form.
  3. Make shows "Successfully determined". Your form fields are now available to the next steps in the scenario.

Step 4: Add the next steps

Add the apps you want to use, such as Google Sheets, Airtable, a CRM, or an email service. Turn the scenario on.

Common Uses

  • Route leads by answer: Send enterprise inquiries to sales and support questions to your help desk, based on a form field.
  • Send one submission to several apps: Add a lead to your CRM, log it in a spreadsheet, and notify your team in one scenario.
  • Clean up data first: Format names, phone numbers, or dates before they reach another system.
  • Connect apps without a native integration: Reach any service in Make's catalog.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Make the same as Integromat?

Yes. Integromat renamed itself to Make. The setup on this page works for all current Make accounts.

Where do I get the Make webhook URL?

Add a Custom Webhook step to a new scenario in Make. Make generates the URL when you save the webhook.

Why doesn't Make show my form fields?

Make needs one sample submission to learn your fields. Click Redetermine data structure, then submit a test entry from your form.

Do I need to write code?

No. You copy a URL from Make, paste it into FormBold, and build the rest of the workflow in Make's visual editor.

Do spam submissions reach Make?

No. FormBold filters spam before sending anything to your webhook.
